If you were taught by Graham Arnold and would like to be added to our website we would be pleased to hear from you. Return to the Homepage for contact details. Pupils of Graham Arnold The following pupils of Graham Arnold have been identified: Sue Cave. Kingston College of Art. Graham Clarke. Beckenham School of Art. Robin Gray. Ravensbourne College of Art. Paul Humphreys. Kingston Polytechnic (Kingston College of Art) Andrea Kellard. Kingston Polytechnic (Kingston College of Art) Andrea's recollections: I remember a couple of inspirational and important things he asked of me ... one was to experiment with p.v.a. (a new material then) he painted this white stuff all over rather a good watercolour study in my sketch book, then said 'you'll be able to wash it after' ... then asked me to take it and use it in different ways, on various materials ... see what I could do with it ... it was good! The other was in life-drawing, when he'd observed I was delineating the form, ... he said 'why don't you try drawing it from the inside, out?' Cailean MacKirdy. Beckenham School of Art. Cailean's recollections: We were all enamoured by Samuel Palmer, Turner, Constable and our paintings were very English looking. A fact that I have since discovered as quite popular when I exhibit in Carolyn White. Kingston Polytechnic (Kingston College of Art)
